What RALLIER is

RALLIER is the platform a car club runs its life on: a shared website, a phone app called RALLIER, a separate push-to-talk app called RALLIER Talk, and radio rentals for the weekends a club needs handsets it doesn't own. A club uses it to organize meets, drives, and shows; a member uses it to find that club, talk to the people in it, and show up to what it's running. Each piece below gets a sentence or two here and its own entry elsewhere in this guide.

On the web

Sign in at rallier.app for your own account: a directory of every club and business, your spots and build journals, your events, your friends and follows, and your direct messages — start with Getting started and Explore. Once you belong to a club, that club also runs its own site, reachable from its own address, with its own chat, member discussions and admin-written announcements, member roster, and events calendar — see Your club, Posts and announcements, and Events, for members. Photo posts called spots — a car seen in the wild, a good driving road, a photo location worth remembering — live on the web too, each tied to a place rather than just a feed; see Spots. And if a club needs radios for a single event rather than owning a fleet, RALLIER Talk's rental page ships handsets out (or hands them over) already configured, with a live map of every radio during the event and a link anyone running it can share with the people using them.

In the RALLIER app

The RALLIER app — one app, whichever store you download it from — puts the same club life on your phone across five tabs: Today, Groups, Journals, Spots, and Messages. Today collects what needs you right now: events running today, unread chats across every club you're in, tagged with which club each one came from, and a quick look at your groups generally. Groups holds the clubs you belong to, and from Find more groups every club you don't. Journals holds build logs and other long-form writing, not just your own. Spots is the photo feed, with a map view one tap away. Messages is a single direct-message inbox spanning every club, rather than a separate inbox per club. On an iPad or a large Android screen, two more sections — Explore and your account — get their own place in a sidebar instead of hiding behind a tap.

A separate app, RALLIER Talk, handles push-to-talk voice — access is turned on through your account or your club — and it runs alongside the RALLIER app rather than inside it.
